Macaca Hunters Grow Bold

Connecticut’s political campaigns can’t be blamed for the dearth of jobs in the sour economy. In addition to all the usual staffing positions, like Campaign Manager, Communications Director, and Fundraiser, an increasing number of campaigns around the country are employing individuals as “trackers”. These individuals are stirring the pot in state politics and forcing everyone to come to grips with the latest intersection between reality TV and reality.

Want a Better Legislature? Longer Terms May Be the Answer

For Connecticut’s state legislators, Election Day is almost always just around the corner. The Nutmeg State is one of just 14 states where legislators in both the state House and Senate serve two year terms, beginning in January after their election and concluding (for General Session purposes, anyway) until the next year’s May.
